Wreck this journal day 6

I've been busy today so didn't get to do the page I wanted to. But instead, I have done this.........................

Ooh I was soo excited when I saw it so went to raid the kids left over paint.
This was my space I had to print on.

So I found a left over strip of paints that you get from little art sets.

And here is the final result!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha. What a fantastic way to end he day!!!!

My new dividers for Lyndy the Lyndhurst.

Since I moved over to the personal lyndhurst I decided I needed to make him some new dividers.
I bought some paper from Staples today that I thought was fab.

These were the four sheets I was going to use.

As well as this one that I made last week.

I bought some index stickers from paperchase with owls on them. They are awesome.

This is the final result.

Aren't they sweet peeking over the top.

Wreck this journal day 5

Today as I'm late doing this I have chosen an easy one.

There isn't really much noticeable difference.

There was an immense sense of guilty pleasure from doing this though.

The move into Lyndy the lyndhurst. Part one

So I have made the decision to move into the personal Lyndhurst for three reasons.
1. I love it.
2. I read a blog last night about a zipped filofax.
3. I wanted to make a Christmas section to organise everything. I couldn't do this properly in a pocket.

So this is part 1, which looks at my Christmas section.

Page 1 is my Christmas present list. All the presents I buy or intend to buy go on this page.

Presents get written next to the name, then there are three boxes to cross off.

Bought, wrapped and dispatched.
Under that we have the photo frame section. I intend on buying close family members a photo frame and printing off a photo we had done of the girls as a present from them.

These are the boxes for bought and done to cross off.

Page 2 is my list of Christmas cards that I specifically buy for family. They can have a line through when bought (as I have bought some and forgot others). Then crossed off when written and when dispatched.

Underneath that I have a to do list with reminders of what I need to do with certain cards and when I've written them.

On page 3 I have my Christmas card list.

This will be to write down who I need to write cards for and cross off as I go along.

Page 4 is my shopping list.

This is for things I need to buy for Christmas. I.e turkey, crackers etc.
Page 5 is my list of presents for Lis and Esmé.

I often lose track of what I buy them do this is a good reminder.

This page has boxes to cross off when I have bought the present, and then when I have wrapped them.

Coming soon will be my lyndhurst set up part two. Hope you enjoyed my Christmas planning!!

Wreck this journal day 3

Today I have decided to go with this one.

I felt a bit naughty doing this to a book, as I was always brought up to look after books.
Anyway. Here is the result.

I would like to note that I didn't spit my coffee on it. Haha.
Thanks for reading.
Come back tomorrow for day 4

My new Filofax page marker

Just a quick post.
When I was at the Philofaxy meet up last weekend, Imy gave me one of business cards. They were really cute. I told her I was going to hole punch it and use it as a page marker.
So I did. I originally had it further back in my pocket Malden, but have now decided to use it as a today marker as its sooo cute.
Hers is a photo.

Does anyone else use quirky things as dividers or page markers??
Feel free to leave a comment and let me know.
Xx

Wreck this journal day 1

I have decided that I will flick through the book and pick a day that I fancy doing.
This is today's.

I have sprayed the page with one of my favourite perfumes.
Secret fantasy star by Avon.

I chose this, so my book smells nice.

My new book of fun. "wreck this journal"

I bought a new book today that I was going to use from January 1st, but I am so excited that I may use it from today as it isn't dated.
I love quirky books and saw this in waterstones so had to buy it.

It is basically a blank journal where you pick random things from inside to do on a day.

I was soo excited about this that I have blogged it now. I'm going to have a proper look through now then update you with some of the random things it asks you to do.

My aim is to do something from here everyday then blog it.
Thanks for reading.

My Lyndhurst eBay bargain

For many years I used a mini zipped Lyndhurst, and was wondering whether to try out a bigger size as the mini was to small to write all of my lecture in.
On Sunday night I was lucky enough to win a personal Lyndhurst for £10.50.
It was described as follows.

Well it arrived today in the post!!
It was wrapped in lovely pink paper.

And inside was a lovely little card.

I thought that was really sweet.

Inside were the blue and grey 1-6 inserts as seen in the eBay photo, to do sheets, lots of white ruled paper, lots of address sheets, and blue and grey A-Z dividers.
To my surprise the was also a Filofax personal hole punch and calculator.

There are obviously a few marks on the outside of the Filofax, but it was to be expected.
I am very pleased with my purchase and very tempted to try him out soon.

Thank you for reading.

What's in the bag? My Neal St purchase.

Whilst on the Philofaxy meet up, I made a purchase that I wasn't intending on making.
As soon as I saw it I loved it.

So here is what's in the bag........

It's another bag. Lol. This is a cloth bag, which is very nicely looking after......................

A Filofax Adelphi handbag.

Inside there are two pockets and the main zip pocket.

Inside the zip pocket is an internal zip pocket on one side.

And on the other side, two pen loops, an elasticated pocket and a leather pocket.

I love this bag!!

It is fantastic quality.

And soft.

I'm now going to put all of my things in it.
Thanks for looking.
