I am soo excited today to tell you that this post is a very special guest post!!!!
This guest post is a rather privileged look in to Esmé's Mini Finsbury Filofax. Esmé is my youngest daughter and is 4 years old.
When asked what she used her Filofax for she said "just scribbling things and stuff".
So without further a do, it's over to Esmé.
My mummy gave me my Filofax. I like it because it is small and pink and sweet.
I keep important things at the front like train tickets, so I can go on the train. The sticker of the Master is mummy's. She loves the Master. The chicken is mine.
Mummy made my dashboard. I wanted one because mummy has one in her Filofax which she writes things on. Mine has got mice on it though.
This is just the back of it where I write my name.
These are my animal stickers. I like stickers.
My mummy gave me the little pen to put inside so I can write things when I'm out.
This is my scribbling page where I am planning a party.
This is where I write things I need to look for, like toys and games.
I keep my money in here so it's safe.
In here I keep my spare stickers.
I got the hole punch this afternoon and put some holes in my stickers so they don't fall out of my Filofax.
So there we have Esmé's Filofax.
We hope you enjoyed this post.
Esmé would love to hear any comments you have on it.

BEST. FILOFAX. POST. EVER!!!! xo Esme!!
ReplyDeletei second that. this filofax post made my day : )
ReplyDeleteEsmé is ahead of the pack! "The chicken is mine" made me laugh out loud. Dear Avalokiteshvara, one day she'll bust out her Filofax (personal organizer) and say something like, "No, I cannot have a play date with you on Saturday at noon. I have to eat lunch. How about Sunday at 4, after my nap? We can learn cursive together."
ReplyDeleteI have to say that your obvious love for your daughters is so admirable! Just from the snippets from your blog and your Twitter stream, you're clearly a fantastic mom and your daughters are so lucky :o)
I would like to hear more about the chicken. I'm sure it has enjoyed many adventures.
ReplyDeleteLove it!!! I too almost peed my pants when I saw "The chicken is mine." Absolutely perfect!
ReplyDeleteI vote for more Esme guest posts in the future, it looks like this little lady has a lot to say!
A future 'Reader Under the Spotlight' on Philofaxy I'm sure. Well done Esme, loved reading about your Filofax.
ReplyDeleteGo Esme! Lovely Filofax for a lovely little girl! My daughter is 6 and I've said she can have a Filofax when she goes to high school. I'm not sure if she'll be able to wait that long though. She's already got her eye on my pink Finsbury!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I wish my mum gave me a Filofax when I was younger hehe x
ReplyDeleteLast Tuesday a mom posted on Philofaxy asking for help starting her child on using a Filofax. Esme, you have answered her question I think.
ReplyDeleteThis is so nice. Someone in the family to share your filofax love with. I want a daughter now.... :)
ReplyDeleteThis is from my daughter Phoebe who is 6:
ReplyDeleteI think Esme has got a wonderful pinck filofax.I love it. mostly the colour.
Wow, I can't believe how long it's just taken her to type that! And I love how she spelled the word 'wonderful' correctly but got 'pink' wrong! lol
Well done Esme. Your writing is very good and I love all your stickers. Do you like to put pictures in from comics? I like to keep a picture of the Doctor in my filofax.... but I like the Master, too.
ReplyDeleteFrom Esmé.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for the comments. I'm pleased you all like my filofax. Mummy gave me some more stickers to put in it yesterday. xxxxxxxxxx
Most adorable Filo-related blog post EVER! Congrats on such a cute and informative at the same time post Esme :)
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats to the mummy for having such a sweet daughter :)
That, Esme, is a fabulous Filofax you have there. And it looks like you have lots of fun with it :o)
ReplyDeleteLovely stuff, Esme! Keep it going and you'll be an organisational expert! :)
ReplyDeleteAndI'd say she has a great work life balance too... Some parties, some scribbling. What more do we need in life? Esme, you rock!
ReplyDeleteFuture writer and blogger! Getting them started young is the way to go!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Just adorable!

ReplyDeleteLovely post! I just got my order from Filofax USA today and in it was a mini Domino for my 4 year old daughter. She has been using a personal Metropol but it was just too big. I think this mini size will be great for her, but now I am loving the Finsbury Esme has. Starting them early for sure!!! Can I ask where you got the little mice sticky notes? Would love to swap you for something from US for some of these cute sticky notes, note papers & washi tape that are in the UK!

What a great guest post. There was something about the post, the photographs of Esme and the pleasure that she had from the filofax that was simple and yet somehow poignant. Hope to hear more about your pink filofax Esme!
ReplyDeleteWow Esmé, what a great blog post. What a talented little lady
ReplyDeleteLovely post! Thank you, Esmé!
ReplyDeleteLovely post, my daughter will get her filofax next week when it's her birthday, all ready for starting High School :)
ReplyDeleteooowww, Esme, your Filofax is sooo darling! I love your idea of whole punching your stickers! Better then keeping the whole book. I am so doing it on mine! ;)
ReplyDeleteExcellent post Esme!
Esme, your stickers and Filofax are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSO darling! Love the Master sticker! :)
ReplyDeleteEsmé, what a beautiful Filofax you have, and what a beautiful girl you are! My first planner was given free to children that watched a local cartoon show. It was called "My Important Book", and that's still what I call my pink Malden to this day. (See--you can always have a pink planner if that's what you want!)
ReplyDeleteHere is a comment from my little boy "I like your stickers and putting holes in so they don't fall out is very clever, and the birthday planning thing, and the list of toys and things - and I love your pink Filofax"
ReplyDeleteGreat job Esmé! Your Filofax is super adorable just like you :) I am planning to get the same mini one that you have they sure are expensive! You have an awesome mommie! You should put pictures of you family in there. Enjoy the Filo :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful post! If I ever have children, they'll each be getting an A5 Domino for me to use for them (height, weight, you know, 'parent' stuff), as well as a Mini/Pocket as soon as they can hold a pen!
