Filofax Enigma. The follow up

Hello. As promised here is my follow up post to Filofax Enigma-Love it or hate it?
The vermilion seems to have gone down well with the majority of people. There were only a couple of comments both on Twitter and my blog that said it wasn't for them. It appears to be the case that the red colour in the vermilion makes it less "squashed snake" like. However, people also agree that the Enigma isn't worth the £195 that Filofax are selling it for.
I absolutely LOVE this Filofax!!!!!! I love the colour, the softness, everything in fact!! Haha.
So let's have a quick tour of the set up.




Here we have my little beauty. I've called him Iggy.




On the inside pockets I carry my most used cards. In the pocket behind that I carry money. Well notes to be more precise. In the zip pocket I have stamps, and little notes/keepsakes. I am using my Bic 4 colour fashion pen that I just hook on to the pen loop.




Then we have my old faithful dashboard. This is a new one I made to go in here. It is my first port of call when I open my Filofax and has shopping lists, notes and to do on there, and general reminders. It also acts as my first tab.




On the back of my dashboard I have some daytimer self stick hot lists. These are good for the weekly shop or if I have a day where I have a lot to do.




Then I have a pic of my girls and a selection of note paper.




Then comes my second tab. This is my "happy section" and starts with train notes for when I go to London in May :). It also has notes that Imy has sent me and pictures that Esmé has done for me.




Then comes the information tab. This has personal details,




The Filofax lost and found page,




Passwords to remember etc, addresses.




On the left in this pic is the letters that Esmé is learning, and how to write them. This is very handy when out and about and I need to describe how to write the letter w for example.
Then we have my diary. I am using the daytimer monthly tabs and a Filofax German cotton cream week to view ruled.




Next we have a clear pocket where I keep my stickers. I
Love making my Filofax look pretty. :)




Then I have another pocket with coupons in for shopping.




Then I have my cards at the back in a card holder.




And finally in the popper pocket in the back cover I have my money.

The Filofax Pennybridge set up

Ok. So I have finally got round to blogging my set up in the Pennybridge that I purchased from City organiser




I do really like this Filofax as it has everything you would need in a Filofax/wallet combo. I just miss the Filofax 'love of my life' my personal Deco so going to go back to her for a while.
So here is the set up.




The left hand side of the pennybridge is the wallet section. Here I have my cards and coupons that I use regularly.


I use the zip section for coins.



Then there is room for more cards and a pocket at the back for notes.



I just have a small dashboard in the pennybridge.



I don't use dividers in the pennybridge as she only has 15mm rings, but do like this divider so kept it in.


I have my train info inside for when I go to London. Eeeek, exciting!!!


And I still have my Christmas decoration from Esmé inside.


I made my personal detail page look pretty with stickers from Imy. :)


Then I still use my day-timer monthly tabs. I'm currently using Filofax cotton cream week on two pages diary. It is the ruled one from Germany. I like having the lines.


Tucked in the back I have some stickers and notes.

I do have a few other things inside such as passwords, important addresses, note paper, two clear pockets with coupons etc, but 15mm rings doesn't allow you to carry much.

So there we have a quick look into my set up of the Filofax compact Pennybridge.

Introducing Dinky the Personal Deco

Hello everyone. Last week I did my Filofax review on the Personal Deco I bought. This week I would like to introduce Dinky to you properly. I called her Dinky, as even though the dimensions of a Deco are bigger than a Malden, she actually feels smaller if that makes sense. Let's compare. Malden dimensions are 140x192mm. Deco dimensions are 140x200mm.








Anyway. Enough of that. Getting a bit carried away with my two favourites fighting for my attention.
The set up I'm using is basically the set up I did for the My December Malden set up
It's just been swapped over to Dinky. The only change I have made is the Christmas section. This is now my eBay section as I had a clear out and put a load of stuff on to sell.
So I will leave you now with some pics of Dinky in all of her loveliness.

My December Malden set up with Day-timer diary

Hello everyone. I hope you all had a good Christmas. I have been asked by Sally for some photos of my Day-timer 2012 diary so I thought I would combine it with a set up post of Marco as I have changed back to the Malden.

 

 

 

Here he is in all his loveliness. 

Anyway, here is the set up. 

 

As you open the Filofax I use the zip compartment for loose change and the cards I use most often go in the card compartments. There are also some Hello Kitty post it notes from Imy in there. 

Then we have as Imy calls it "The dashboard". 

This is usually my first port of call in the morning. It has reminders of things I need to do, shopping lists and any other things that I might need to jot down at quick notice. 

 

After that there is a post it note with a saying that I heard one night on tv, (I thought it was very true) and a photo of my girls. 

Then we come to the Day-timer section. If you want to see what comes in the pack then have a look at the blogpost I did a few weeks ago here

Each monthly tab has a different picture. I love the Flavia. It's very colourful. 

 

Then you get a page for notes. 

 

On the back of the monthly tab you have the month to view. I will use this for Important things I need to remember. 

 

The diary I chose was the week to view (or week on two pages). I have used this week as an example, and as you can see I'm not very busy (damn tonsils).

I was concerned as to whether it was going to work with uni as it has times down the middle so I wrote in my first two days back to see what it looked like. 

 

As you can see, the left hand side of the day is for things that need to be done, and the right hand column is for appointments. 

 

At the end of the month there is another notes page and then the next monthly tab. 

I love the tabs on this too. 

 

 And then follows on to the next month.

 They are soo colourful.

After the diary we have the top tabs.

Behind the first one is my christmas section which I previously blogged about here. This section has now been further extended. 

 

 It now includes a list for writing Thank you cards, and a list of all of the presents Esmé was bought so I don't forget.

 Then we have the second tab.

Behind tab 2 is my Filofax stickers, and a list of important things to remember such as passwords etc. 

 

There is also a note in there that Imy sent me.

 

Behind tab 3 is a list of phone numbers, addresses and web pages I might need. 

Behind tab 4 is a few to do sheets where I write down what blogposts I need to do. 

Behind tab 5 is where I keep notepaper. 

 

 As well as Filofax notepaper, there is also some from Day-timer.

Then comes my today marker. This is no longer used as a today marker as i am still using the business card that Imy gave me.

 I have a christmas decoration picture that Esmé did for me at school.

 A clear pocket that looks after my vouchers for shopping so I don't forget them.

It also has my card holder, for my cards. Although I have seen some people use them for holding post it notes.

 Inside the back cover I have some lovely post it notes tucked in.

They are a little book from Paperchase that I bought in the sale this week.

And it even has some little stickers with it.
